Matty & Bobby kiss!

Okay, sooooooo....... there's these dudes. And they're going to break the world record for longest kiss. They haven't got long left, sooo if you're watching this before 20:30 (8:30 East Coast time) on September 19, 2010, go watch and support! And donate to the Trevor Project if you can! They're also supporting it.
The Trevor Project is an organizaion thing against LGBTQ teen suicide. Some people are lucky enough for this to not happen, but sometimes, when a kid "comes out" as gay / lesbian / bisexual or transgender (that doesn't really have to do with coming out, but they still get lost of hate... sometimes more than gays, although there's nothing in the Bible against them or anyting as far as I know), their parents and classmates (and others, I guess) can be cruel. Gay hate is probably the worst in the world, I'd think. In some countries, it's illegal to even be gay. And that's just for gay men. I'm pretty sure lesbians are mostly accepted for some reason, although there's as much "against" them in religious books as there is gay men. (Yes, I'm Christian. No, I don't hate gay people. I don't even believe in all of it, really. Gay, straight, what does it matter? Just love <3) But I still support gay marriage and all, because I think anyone should be able to get married. And some people say marriage is a religious thing and that's why gay people can't marry, but if that's the case, then shouldn't atheists not be able to marry and religious gay people should?
Off topic.
So sometime, the hate's so bad, it sends them into depression. That's where the Trevor Project comes in. they're all about acceptance and everything. Things I hate about my school. (*rantpost*)

The racism.
The ignorance.
The "social ladder".
The teachers.
The students.
The fact that around half the kids have been arrested or even to jail.

Yesterday, in history class, we started "learning" about Islam / Muslims (we're learning about monotheistic religions...) and apparently, I'm the only one who actually knew what either of those words meant,. No, I'm not even Muslim. One of the kids, when asked what a Muslim was, he replied, like it was obvious, "A terrorist." No! Those are the extremist ones. The Muslim equivalent to the Westboro Baptist Church (which of course I'm totally against. I may be Christian, but I'm one that can actually read the Bible, not just one or two verses). Another kid, when asked what Islam is, answered "The terrorist capital". He though it was a CITY. And once again, the racism was there. Today, we were still "learning" about it, and the teacher didn't even know where the Middle East is. He said it was part of EUROPE. From what I've learned during life, it's part of Asia. The kid who sits behind me said something about Asians not being able to see as well because they have smaller eyes than "us" (the teacher asked what features we think of when we think of people from other places, and he asked for every continent...)
And that's not even HALF the problems with that class.
My language arts teacher doesn't even know WHAT LANGUAGE WE SPEAK. She said something about "the American language" today. Omg, wtf. (yes, I love interwebspeak)
There's more with her too, but I can't even remember now...
The students suck too.
I got made fun of for reading Harry Potter the other day (wtf, I can't help being such a nerd. It's who I am), and today I got made fun of for having love on my arms (pics down there at the bottom) today. I was called emo, suicidal, depressed, and weird. One girl asked me if it was for Write Love On Your Arms For Emos Day. Where did she COME UP with that one? I was talking to some kid the other day (on Facebook) and he asked what was up, so I told him. I was listening to ALL CAPS (best band ever, right now imo. LISTEN NOW or die. Okay, not that far. But they're pretty rad, I recommend) and he didn't know who they were so he looked them up and then he told me they sucked and called me stupid for listening to them. Which I totally disagree with, nerd rock is fucking amazing. I guess that's what genre they are... I've heard them called that, anyway. And I think it suits them.
At least I've got my music to come home to every day.
This ain't where it's at. My friends will second that. And I've gotta admit, sometimes it's pretty sad.

(I just quoted The Rocket Summer at you. Oh, and you just lost the game. You're welcome)

Well, on a happier note, I think I may have helped save some lives today by telling people about TWLOHA

This one looks so much better in black and white... it's pretty when it is.

My left arm was totally covered from the elbow down =D
I was kind of worried my LA teacher would yell at me though... she seems like the person who wouldn't care even if I DID explain to her it was saving lives and all. So, I didn't raise my hand at all the entire class... no other teachers had any problems though =D

Also: Regular Show= worst cartoon ever, it's tring too hard. Sorry, I was just watching it and this came to me to write down =D
I use lots of smilies =D

Sept. 10-17.

What do those dates mean? you ask. What do they have to do with you?
Everything. Absolutely EVERYTHING.
You see, it is TWLOHA week!
What is that, you may ask? (you sure ask a lot of questions...)
To Write Love On Her Arms!
In short, it's an organization pretty much for suicide prevention. You're probably wondering what that has to do with you. I repeat, everything. Anyone can be affected by depression (which is pretty much what causes you to committ suicide) and chances are, you either know someone who has been, you yourself have, or there's someone near you who has and you just don't know it. Depression is a lot more common than people think. About 19 million people in the world are struggling with it, and suicide is the third-leading cause of deaths in 18-24 year olds. People a lot younger can be affected, though, too. To quote the website, "These are not "emo" issues. These are issues of humanity, problems of pain that affect millions of people around the world."
I can testify to how badly it sucks... I was affected once. Sad face. ='(
That's why this week means so much to me. Along with the official TWLOHA day, November 13th. I got so mad today when I was explaining to someone why I had LOVE written on my arm. Her reply to my explanation was something along the lines of "Who cares. Let them die, it's their lives and they can do what they want."
I tried to explain that you don't exactly think "clearly" when you're depressed, but she woldn't listen.
I also got mad at my guidance teacher, who was also talking about depression today (just a coincidence. he had no idea). He tried to explain to the kids what it was, by using the example of "just not caring anymore". That's part of it, but obviously he's never had to go through it. It's a LOT more than that. If that were the case, I've been depressed my entire life.. (lol, just kidding around... I actually care about a lot of things, if you haven't noticed by now) I really wanted to just raise my hand and show him what I had written, and maybe explain. But of course, God had to give me the curse of being shy... and I totally regret it now. Come Novemeber 13th, my arms will be covered, and I'll be telling everyone. I'll probably even go to Hot Topic and buy a shirt =D (people think of it as an emo store, but mine's totally against stereotypical "emo" XD)
If you want to know more, http://www.twloha.com/vision can help with that, and if you want to help, it's as easy as writing on your arm. And you'll have to explain when people ask about it, so make sure to go to the website and become educated =D

This post will make me seem very emo.

I like sad songs.
Most of my favourite songs are sad.
They're easy to relate to.

Don't Jump- Tokio Hotel
On The Edge- Tokio Hotel
Forgotten Children- Tokio Hotel (YES I am a huge fan.)
Humans- The Scene Aesthetic
BigCityDreams- Never Shout Never (okay, well this might only be sad to me, because I can personally relate)
Speechless- Lady Gaga (I know, I KNOW. Lady Gaga's supposed to be dance music, which isn't sad in the slightest... but this song isn't dance at all. It actually reminds me of old music... I'm not sure the exact period (maybe 40s...) but it does. Or maybe it's just because it's the same color as old photographs (sepia) )
Light a Way- He Is We (love them!) (this song might niot be sad for many, I can't even personally relate to it, but I think it's a beautiful song that can be sad at times...)
I Will Follow You Into the Dark- Death Cab For Cutie ( it's a really sweet song, but at the same time dark and sort of depressing...)
What Sarah Said- Death Cab For Cutie
Never Knew- The Rocket Summer (not so sad, but made me cry nonetheless...)
Do You Feel?- The Rocket Summer (I'm not completely sure if the ? is actually there...)
Till It Happens To You- Corinne Bailey Rae
Heaven Knows I'm Miserable- The Smiths
Brielle- Sky Sailing (I think I seriously would have cried, tears and all, if my sister hadn't been in the room with me.)

There's more, but it's too late for that much thinking... plus I've got school tomorrow, script writing to do all night, homework to do tonight (probably in the middle of the night so my mum won't know I didn't do it XD)(see how script writing is more important than school work? Lol, my school life is ruined and it's YouTube's fault.)
(edit: and the best part is, I haven't even gotten around to making that video yet. But the script's pretty good, if I do say so myself. I'll post the video once it's up.)
