Love

What is it about schoolkids that makes them think that thinking someone is cute and loving them are synonymous?
Don't get me wrong. I'm a "schoolkid" myself. I only use that term because it seems to be something only kids do. Like, I was talking (rather, texting) to my friend the other day and she kept talking about some guy she didn't even know who was inexplicably at her dad's house. Exact quotes:
"He's so hottt!"
"I LOVE him!"
Now, keep in mind the only thing she knew about this guy was his name. To make it worse, I'm pretty sure he was at least three or four years older than us. (Knowing her taste, he was probably gay, too.)
Every time someone gets a new boy- or girlfriend this happens as well. Way back in fifth grade, when I had my first boyfriend, he would text me constantly and end every conversation with an "I love u". I had no idea what to say because even back then, I knew it wasn't real love and that we shouldn't be throwing the word around like that. I mean, sure, of course I loved him, but in a "love thy neighbor" way, like I love everyone. But all this stuff about loving people you barely know is just weird. Kids are taught that hate is a strong word, aren't they? The same should be done for love.

And completely off-topic life updates:
Well, I was talking to the boy who told me listening to ALL CAPS was stupid a while ago, and he asked what was up again, so I told him. At that particular point in time I happened to be listening to Hollywood Undead. He told me they sucked, too. Guess what's going on now? He's like, one of the biggest HU fanboys ever.
And, is it weird to read literary classics only in the hopes that your language arts teacher will notice and hate you a little less..? Right bow I'm actually working on Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. I think I'm going to try Pride and Prejudice next.

NaNoWriMo

What is NaNoWriMo, you ask? Well, I shall explain in.......
3.....
2..............
1...........................
NaNoWriMo is the abbreviation for National Novel Writing Month. Despite what the title is, though, it is international. People do it everywhere. It starts November 1st, at 00:00, or 12:00 and ends on December 1st, 00:00 or 12:00 (so, midnight...). Pretty much, if you participate, you write an entire novel in a month. 50,000 words by December, or you don't win. I'm under 18 though, and this is my first year, so i set my own goal XD
I'm trying for 30,000 words. Only 1,000 a day = )
My outline is "zombie apocalypse". My friend's idea =p She loves zombies. More than me, even. =O
Ugh..... I'm stressed. From what I've heard, it's terrible. Like, in this song : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TGbIAban14
I'm nervous. Plus, I KNOW I'm going to die of lack of sleep XD

Linda Woolverton

Wow. I NEVER thought I'd say This, but school today was really Enjoyable. Languge Arts, anyway.
Turns out, My friend's aunt is the person Who wrote Alice in Wonderland (the most Recent One), Homeward Bound (you know, That movie they make you watch In elementary school. Unless You're old, then you never Experienced that), The Lion King, and she Helped with Mulan. She writes Books and musicals too, apparently.
So anyway, she Came here From Hollywood (lol never Met someone from there Before =p) to do something or other, but while she Was here, my Classmate/Friend brought her in for Show n Tell (Lol. JK. It was Actually to speak to us about Careers in Writing and stuff.)
I didn't hear some of What she said because I got a fantastic Idea for My book I might have mentioned Yesterday. But I know it Was pretty Interesting. I decided Today while the Guidance Counselor was interrupting my study Hall to tell us about Jobs and Colleges on what I want to do. Ima be A photographer, Writer, and i think designing Album Covers would be interesting. everyone tells me I'm good at Drawing, though I can't imagine why. I think I Suck. I think the Writing was partially due to That LadyPerson.
Oh, and Sorry about the Capitalization. I'm feeling pretty Random today.

Well. Some more things have happened that no one cares about.

I can see thestrals now. = (
I found out I actually have things in common with people I actually know IRL. How weird is that??
This girl I know LOVES MCR, Vampires Everywhere!, Panic! At The Disco, Cobra Starship, and Fall Out Boy. As do I. She also watches AmazingPhil on YouTube. I thought I was the ONLY one around here who does that XD
Plus some girl who, at first glance, appears to be preppy apparently likes the same things I do too. Austen Leathers, Hollywood Undead, MCR, Boys Like Girls, Bullet For My Valentine, Owl City, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sick Puppies, The Ready Ste, PARAMORE, Never SHout Never, Green Day, stuff like that. And my brother's friend has almost the exact same music taste as me. BMTH, August Burns Red, Avenged Sevenfold, Forever the Sickest Kids, Never Shout Never (does anyone else like him less now? I do =p), Austen Leathers, etc, and the only rap she likes is LMFAO. I also like Eloquent, but you know, few rappers are actually good. AND my friend who likes JUSTIN BIEBER of all artists, has decided she likes MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. I'm sorry, those two don't go together. And I'd talk about the things I have in common with my other friend (a self-proclaimed "scene kid"), but there's too many and I'd go on for hours XD (or rather, chapters. Or paragraphs)
And I don't really have much else to talk about =p
Oh, EXCEPT I got another blog. A music blog = ) http://musicblogliteraltitleiknow.blogspot.com/
I'm going to go write up a post on it.

ohai. been a while, it has.

Well.
We meet again.

I'm back. I know no one reads this but me, but I keep writing up these posts because... I don't know. I guess it's a way to take out my stress on some things. Except I'm not stressed right now. I just feel the need to write something, and I'm too lazy too continue my book (see paragraph 3) because it kind of lost its luster after the first two paragraphs.

Well, a lot of things happened between my last post and now. I became a little nerdier, I think. I've been watching the vlogbrothers a lot (DFTBA) and listening to ALL CAPS and the Ministry of Magic. And I think I've had an effect on my brother. He now listens to the Oceanic Six (I don't because I haven't started LOST yet. I am SO behind!) and I showed him some ALL CAPS songs and he liked them, I think. He thinks wizard rock is weird for some reason, though. He didn't love Harry Potter as much as I do, but he still enjoyed it. I've been listening to a lot of chiptune music too, lately. You know: Anamanaguchi, Henry Homesweet!, ComputeHer, 8 Bit Weapon, etc. I'm not sure why, but I always consider that nerd music too. I guess because it reminds me of video games. The old Nintendo kind, like Pokemon.
Oh, and this is tragic: I lost my Pokemon game! I was JUST about to beat the Elite Four, then my mum let me little sister play my GameBoy, and she lost the game! (just like you did.) DX

And no, I wasn't lying up there in the first paragraph thing. I AM working on a book. If I had to be a nerd about anything educational other than reading, I'd pick history. Actually, I already AM a history nerd. The book I'm working on takes place in the Skara Brae area in, like, ancient times. If you don't know where that is, Google it. Or if your religion doesn't permit you to use Google (wtf kind of religion is that?), look for the asterisk (*, for all you people who didn't know) at the bottom.
Well, I'm actually debating going back and changing it. I read this really good book (Thirst Book 1 by Christopher Pike) and not to plagiarize, but it gave me an idea. Now, it wouldn't be about a vampire who likes to kill people all the time, but I loved how the main character had flashbacks to before she became immortal or to right after, even though most of the book takes place in modern times. I thought it was really well written.
So, maybe I'll do something like that. I don't plan to EVER publish it, though. I just write for fun. Plus, it'd be way too plagiarized DX    XD
So what I'm going to do (getting my thoughts down has helped me make up my mind) is make the character remember her past, and things she did, etc. I'm not sure what the modern-day conflict is going to be (in the draft that took place entirely in the past, it was going to be about evacuating Skara Brae because of flooding and storms, maybe having to go down to the Brittania area and trying to live there, maybe getting attacked by Brittanian tribes. I'm not sure. =p)

*Skara Brae- a Neolithic settlement on the west coast of Orkney, Scotland. Europe's most complete Neolithic village (discovered so far). Nicknamed the Scottish Pompeii because it was covered by sands and dirt blown from storms over the nearby ocean, just as Pompeii was flooded with ash. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skara_Brae

Matty & Bobby kiss!

Okay, sooooooo....... there's these dudes. And they're going to break the world record for longest kiss. They haven't got long left, sooo if you're watching this before 20:30 (8:30 East Coast time) on September 19, 2010, go watch and support! And donate to the Trevor Project if you can! They're also supporting it.
The Trevor Project is an organizaion thing against LGBTQ teen suicide. Some people are lucky enough for this to not happen, but sometimes, when a kid "comes out" as gay / lesbian / bisexual or transgender (that doesn't really have to do with coming out, but they still get lost of hate... sometimes more than gays, although there's nothing in the Bible against them or anyting as far as I know), their parents and classmates (and others, I guess) can be cruel. Gay hate is probably the worst in the world, I'd think. In some countries, it's illegal to even be gay. And that's just for gay men. I'm pretty sure lesbians are mostly accepted for some reason, although there's as much "against" them in religious books as there is gay men. (Yes, I'm Christian. No, I don't hate gay people. I don't even believe in all of it, really. Gay, straight, what does it matter? Just love <3) But I still support gay marriage and all, because I think anyone should be able to get married. And some people say marriage is a religious thing and that's why gay people can't marry, but if that's the case, then shouldn't atheists not be able to marry and religious gay people should?
Off topic.
So sometime, the hate's so bad, it sends them into depression. That's where the Trevor Project comes in. they're all about acceptance and everything. So, if you want to find out more, http://www.thetrevorproject.org/about-trevor/organization and to watch: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/world-record-kiss---33-hours

Spread the love. <3333

Things I hate about my school. (*rantpost*)

The racism.
The ignorance.
The "social ladder".
The teachers.
The students.
The fact that around half the kids have been arrested or even to jail.

Yesterday, in history class, we started "learning" about Islam / Muslims (we're learning about monotheistic religions...) and apparently, I'm the only one who actually knew what either of those words meant,. No, I'm not even Muslim. One of the kids, when asked what a Muslim was, he replied, like it was obvious, "A terrorist." No! Those are the extremist ones. The Muslim equivalent to the Westboro Baptist Church (which of course I'm totally against. I may be Christian, but I'm one that can actually read the Bible, not just one or two verses). Another kid, when asked what Islam is, answered "The terrorist capital". He though it was a CITY. And once again, the racism was there. Today, we were still "learning" about it, and the teacher didn't even know where the Middle East is. He said it was part of EUROPE. From what I've learned during life, it's part of Asia. The kid who sits behind me said something about Asians not being able to see as well because they have smaller eyes than "us" (the teacher asked what features we think of when we think of people from other places, and he asked for every continent...)
And that's not even HALF the problems with that class.
My language arts teacher doesn't even know WHAT LANGUAGE WE SPEAK. She said something about "the American language" today. Omg, wtf. (yes, I love interwebspeak)
There's more with her too, but I can't even remember now...
The students suck too.
I got made fun of for reading Harry Potter the other day (wtf, I can't help being such a nerd. It's who I am), and today I got made fun of for having love on my arms (pics down there at the bottom) today. I was called emo, suicidal, depressed, and weird. One girl asked me if it was for Write Love On Your Arms For Emos Day. Where did she COME UP with that one? I was talking to some kid the other day (on Facebook) and he asked what was up, so I told him. I was listening to ALL CAPS (best band ever, right now imo. LISTEN NOW or die. Okay, not that far. But they're pretty rad, I recommend) and he didn't know who they were so he looked them up and then he told me they sucked and called me stupid for listening to them. Which I totally disagree with, nerd rock is fucking amazing. I guess that's what genre they are... I've heard them called that, anyway. And I think it suits them.
At least I've got my music to come home to every day.
This ain't where it's at. My friends will second that. And I've gotta admit, sometimes it's pretty sad.

(I just quoted The Rocket Summer at you. Oh, and you just lost the game. You're welcome)

Well, on a happier note, I think I may have helped save some lives today by telling people about TWLOHA

This one looks so much better in black and white... it's pretty when it is.

My left arm was totally covered from the elbow down =D
I was kind of worried my LA teacher would yell at me though... she seems like the person who wouldn't care even if I DID explain to her it was saving lives and all. So, I didn't raise my hand at all the entire class... no other teachers had any problems though =D

Also: Regular Show= worst cartoon ever, it's tring too hard. Sorry, I was just watching it and this came to me to write down =D
I use lots of smilies =D
